Filtration of raw materials is important to ensure the best productivity during chemical reactions or treatment. ARNS Filter product range offers solutions to remove contaminants from solids particles to microorganisms from pharmaceutical preparations.
Firstly, for the particulate removal filter, we recommend using ARNS Filter’s GCTB-Series Meltblown cartridges along with the GTCH cartridge vessel.
Then, for the point-of-use particulate removal filter, we recommend using our pleated depth cartridge (PP-Series) with a GFHD mono cartridge vessel.
Moreover, we advise using a 0.2-micron rating PES membrane cartridge for microbial retention for the point-of-use sterilizing grade filter.
Finally, for the gas filter, it is recommended to use our PTFE (Sterilizing grade) membrane cartridges along with the GSTL sanitary vessel.
Activated Carbon or Catalyst Removal
During production, it could be necessary to add solids such as active carbon or catalysis which
will be removed after the treatment or reaction. Depending on the solid quantity a first main step could be necessary to remove the majority of the catalysts. Amafilter’s Cricket filter is one of the best solutions for this step. For small batches or after the main filtration we also offer several solutions in accordance with your process.
